Focuses on the use of newly discovered
organisms from the sea
in industrial processes. Applications include productions of new medicines, fine chemicals and renewable energy.
Majors can be done in fields such as
bioprocess engineering
,
environmental technology
and
system and control
techniques.
Students will follow one year of courses, some compulsory and other optional. In the second year of the MSc, students will perform 2 research projects: major thesis and internship or 2nd thesis.
